While there are many ways to close a plastic bag, heal sealing provides many benefits compared to other methods. First, heat sealing will ensure your products stay protected, keep air in or out, and ensure a leak-proof seal. Compared to twist ties, knots, and tape, heat sealing looks more professional and is tamper evident.
When heat sealing a ziplock bag, there is an area about ½” tall that can be used to seal the bag. Please ensure the sealer you are using is wider than the bag width to ensure an even seal.
